Student Cooking

I don't consider myself a foodie, but over the past few months, I've become really interested in what people eat and cook, especially students. It doesn't have to be anything fancy or organic/unique/beautiful. I just like hearing or seeing what other people eat.

I've probably mentioned it before, but last semester was a big jump for me in terms of cooking. I had a little practice over the summer, but not much. I made dinner maybe once or twice over the course of a few weeks. Admittedly, it was because I was too busy and too tired to bother. But I slowly gained a nice collection of recipes on Pinterest.

Last semester was my first off the meal plan at my school, so I had to cook for myself. The nearest Taco Bell or other restaurant was a 20 minute drive away down and up a mountain, so that was reserved for special occasions when I went off campus.

For the most part, I was pretty proud of the meals I made. I didn't photograph all of them (I made a really good curry once), but I wanted to share some of the food I ate last semester (maybe in hopes that I will find other people who curious about student's cooking?)

I basically relied on Pinterest and Just bento cookbook by Makiko Itoh.

I'm just really into what people eat!
