My car experienced mild trauma on the first day driving back to school, which set me back both physically from school and emotionally as it was not a quick fix and I had to leave my car behind in Texas as I continued my journey to Georgia in my family's minivan.
That and our original on campus apartment's septic tank broke, so my 3 room mates and I are currently split up and living in another apartment with a bunch of other girls.
It's been a lot of adjustments. No more meal plan, so I'm buying and making all my own food. Walking 10 minutes uphill to campus everyday. And a whole lot less people interaction as a result of moving out of the dorms. It's weird, but nice.
Not to mention school, and my first 18 credit semester. It's not quite as exciting (or fun) as I expected. This week ushers in the first exams and essays, which is still entirely too soon.
Here are some pictures of what my life has been like recently.

Some things I am excited about:
1)making curry later this week
2)first school dance party this Friday
3)thinking about my birthday in 3 weeks. I know I want to make a rhubarb pie (for the first time)
4)and today was first day it's felt like fall. Cooler weather is on the way!
Anyway, til next time!
